We had an awesome time at the U9's Team Skills session over the weekend! We welcomed over 60 kids and their parents to learn the in's and out's of team play.

A big shout out to our U18's who assisted on the day, along with Kaz for running the session! 🙌

To help our little ballers in their jump from half to full court, our Competitions team are holding a FREE 'Team Skills' session. The session will cover the ins and outs of team play, including:

What the game will look like
What the referees will call during the game

When: Saturday 12th October 2024
Time: 8am - 10am
Where: Breakers Indoor Sports Stadium
Who: All U9 teams and their parents
What to wear: Children to wear clothes they can train in as there will be a mini session for them

A big thank you to Nathan Paff for hosting a Junior and Senior Referee Education session last weekend! Nathan is a high level official having refereed in the NBL & WNBL and has a wealth of refereeing knowledge.

Our refs had an awesome time learning from Nathan who covered mechanics, on court fitness, handling conflict and diffusing situations, plus being a presence on the court in tough situations.

These sessions are so valuable for our referees, helping them to really develop their refing skills. Thanks again Nathan for sharing your time and expertise 🤩

Congratulations to our October Referee of the Month, Noah Thoroughgood.

Noah constantly strives to develop his refereeing and achieve his goals. Noah has done incredibly well throughout the last domestic season and recently travelled to Coffs Harbour to officiate at the U12 Country Jamboree.
