Congratulations to our August Referee of the Month, Eli Sims!

Eli is the definition of dedication and professionalism when it comes to his craft.

Always arriving well before tip-off, taking pride in his presentation and bringing consistency and reliability to every game he officiates, Eli sets a great example for those around him.

His commitment, attitude and work ethic make him a fantastic asset to our referee program, and we’re proud to recognise him as our Referee of the Month!

In exciting news, Central Coast Basketball is pleased to report that planning is well underway to undertake facility upgrades as part of the $985,000 Federal Government Grant.

Central Coast Council and their facilities and projects team have undertaken an extensive review of the required works in conjunction with Central Coast Basketball and have finalised a program that will work towards minimising condensation issues and improving player and patron comfort.

Initially, rectification works under the building will be completed to stop water flow through this area. In line with these works, it is intended that a deep sand will be undertaken over all four courts, to improve the playing surface.

Upgrades to the roofing infrastructure and air conditioning are also planned.

These are all important works and would not have been possible without the support of @reid4robertson , Federal Member for Robertson, and his team on the Central Coast. We thank him for his support and look forward to more positive outcomes in the future.
