Welcome Tim Mallon! 

Coaching legend Tim Mallon has joined the Association to review our basketball offering, shape our basketball strategy and support our coaches! Tim brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having been involved with numerous state teams, plus the Australian Young Men’s, and 21 and Under teams.

Operating as a consultant through his firm Dimes Basketball, Tim has been asked to look at our basketball strategy, culture, operations, and aspirations, and use what is found to inform and devise a three-year strategy for 2025 onwards. Once finalised, this will be shared, and implementation will begin.

During his time with the Association, Mallon will be supporting Kaz Irwin as Interim Director of Coaching who takes on the role in addition to her position as Referee Manager. We are excited to have Tim as a part of our team!
